In the year 637 a crevice was discovered in the trenches beneath the Vibrant Depths. The crevice was believed to ooze with abyssal energy and was one of the few of its kind in Relavar. It disallowed the entry of demons in the Material Plane yet was suited for exploration in the deep layers of the abyss. This crevice became an object of concord in the The Unified Council of the Silver Covenant .
