Lifegiver

About a century ago, the skat'ra queens honored their Matriarch by planting a tree on her hill. The tree they selected was the violet wisteria from the Southern Marshes. During the planting, even a few queens were present from nearby hills, and many representatives from other nations. Since then, the plant has been called Lifegiver, and the hill of the Matriarch is called Hill of Life.
The whole process of getting, transporting, and planting the cut was complex. The Southern Marshes is located far from the skat'ra fields. It is a dangerous place. Getting the proper cut from a tree required a company of Dominion soldiers. Then the cut was transported by ship to the skat'ra fields. The cut was always continuously under the supervision of gardeners. During the ceremony, the same gardeners handled the planting, and they stayed at the skat'ra fields until they trained the skat'ra gardeners. The queens specially raised the skat'ra gardeners to do nothing but take care of the tree and protect it with their life if necessary.
During the past century, the tree became one of the most beautiful natural wonders of Tacillia. The soil on the hill or the care of the gardeners made it a vast and extraordinary tree. A proper tribute to the Matriarch and her legacy. Currently, the tree is 10 meters high and has a diameter of 30 meters. Its branches are so heavy the gardeners use poles to support the branches. The effect is absolutely breathtaking when the hundreds of purple and violet flowers hang down from the almost horizontal branches during blooming. In beauty, only the groves of the Parliament and the coral reefs of the calamor can compete with it.
It became a tradition among the leaders of other countries and nations that if they want to have a binding agreement with someone, they sign the contract or treaty under the Lifegiver. On one side, nobody dares to call the wrath of the skat'ra on them, but nobody wants to disrespect the Matriach by breaking their word.
Never felt so peaceful anywhere else than under the boughs of the Lifegiver
— Grorbaden, hobgoblin philosopher
