Clockwork Bug

A small clockwork bug made as a recording device. About 4" across, 6 legs, with a slot for a small cheap crystal to be placed. With a crystal inside it, a clockwork bug may be made to record any audio within 30' of it, for up to 10 minutes. Once done so, the crystal inside it will change colours.
Audio may be played back from a clockwork bug, and a skilled craftsman, or someone with deft enough hands, can swap out the old crystal for a new and empty one.
