Aether God

The Aether Gods are the masters of the Aether and the Material Plane. Born from Enas, the Creator, these gods are responsible for populating the Material Plane with their own creations¹. Although these gods can at times be mischievous, their Good natures lead them to support mortals in their endeavors.

Composition

Aether Gods are known to consist entirely of positive energy. Accordingly, their personalities are marked by their creative impulses. Some theologists believe that the gods consist of a lattice of positive energy, just like Isocrystals. According to this school of thought, the Aether Gods differ from the Nether Gods due to their "cores": Aether Gods are filled with positive energy, while Nether Gods are filled with negative energy.

List of Aether Gods

The gods who emerged from Enas, the Creator, are classified as Aether Gods:

• Ilos, God of the Sun and Agriculture
• Selin, God of the Moon and Sleep
• Gin, God of Earth and Craft
• Pano, God of Storms
• Thelia, Goddess of Knowledge and Magic
• Agapi, Goddess of Beauty and Love
• Vio, Goddess of Life

Theologists have long debated the taxonomy of Urbos, God of the Nether. Three theoretical camps have emerged. The first camp is in alignment with the teachings of the Ilosian Theocracy and believes that Urbos lost his status as an Aether God, and transformed into a Nether God after his betrayal. The second opinion draws support from the Spellweavers' Circle, claiming that Urbos retains characteristics and powers befitting an Aether God. A third controversial stance argues that Urbos is neither an Aether nor a Nether God, and is instead something else entirely.
