Psiaic Dimension (sigh-ick)
Derived from the Greek letter Psi, which in some cases refers to cases of extrasensory perception and other supernatural elements. The association is apt in this case, as those who survive travel to the dimension report cases of odd mental abilities and effects.The Psiaic Dimension isn't something we really understand by itself. Kind of hard to figure something out when you don't have any way to look straight at it, so to speak. But like the earliest people who figured out the sun, and that the earth was round, sometimes you can look at the things around it, and put together a picture anyway. The PsD is not really meant to interact with our dimension. What creatures come through on our end try to destroy us almost instantly. Those with demonstrable intelligence do the same, but with a vicious precision that tells us that they know something of how our dimension works and how to hurt us. We know a little from events like the Battle of the Sky Demon. Not that the so-called Sky Demon came from the PsD, but somewhere adjacent because it was hurt by all the same things that would hurt something from there. We know that people can travel there and back and survive, but it's unlikely. The ones who do tend to have some kind of power or else effect over them that effects the flow of time around them, allowing them to pass through without being hit by the worst of it. Ergo, there's some kind of temporal effect in play that we don't entirely understand. There's an amulet that came from there that has immense power, but only for very specific people.
