Morgan Hammond Memorial Park

One of the irritations of being a superhero is that sometimes the villain's alter ego ends up on the casualty list and the commemorative statue or other landmark made to remember one of your climactic battles ends up being named after the person who supposedly died there. Because they're usually not dead, just in jail forever.   It's even worse when you're a junior team and no one seems to even know that you were there at all. But such is the fate of Academics Club, since it's not even meant to exist. SIVIC might not get credit but people at least know the name.   Of course, the supervillain has to put up with the fact that their great defeat is being remembered forever, and usually with a pseudonym so it's not even their real name. Like how Morgan Hammond is actually Marco Holguin, aka El Pintor. He is actually dead, but it was entirely his own fault, and this proud native of Spain would have hated that his American pseudonym was memorialized.    The park is actually quite iconic. The gardeners and architects and planners and designers who created it put a lot of effort in. And they were allowed to do so, since the battle itself wasn't really all that important to the public eye, so there weren't a lot of high profile figures inserting their opinions in whose statue needed to be cast in bronze. But since it was still important to some people, there was actually a lot of money donated.   E/N: I would like to point out, for the record, that a decent amount was donated by Michael Halifax-Wilcox. And that another large segment was "donated" by Ruby Gray, and I think at least 10% was actually her own money.   (describe battle here, and design park to reflect elements)
