Jade Wasp

Clad in green robes, Jade Wasp uses a unique and powerful style of martial art, which uses crushing blows and is linked to insects within the spirit realm. She appears to be in her early forties, and has black bands on her robes and a small scar high on her cheek, near her eye. She slew several House of Cats retainers and guards incredibly swiftly while stealing the Scrolls of Juzo Suko, which they were able to report when questioned post-mortem by the necromancer Vulpis Red.
The martial art style she uses is unlike the other known insect-related martial art practiced by the School of the Mantis. It appears likely she developed it herself, and kept it a secret. A double hammer-fist crushed the throat of one of the librarians of the House of Cats, preventing him from calling for help, when she and the Steel River attacked the House Library to steal the Scrolls. She was able to leap almost to the ceiling in a single movement, before spitting a green resinous stinger with deadly accuracy to kill one of the guards.
The stinger was sized as if coming from an eight-foot wasp, and made from a green resin. Barbs on the tip prevented it from being removed, and the poison it injected killed the guard in agony. The stinger appeared to be linked to spirit wasps in some way, but investigators were unable to determine whether she spat the stinger from her mouth like a fukimi-bari dart, or it was created magically.
The room in the Steel River's home where she stayed was discovered to contain several dead wasps on the windowsill, appearing identical to normal wasps except that they were thumb-sized and coloured with bands of metallic green and black.
