The Grand Temple of Alcor

Defenses

The entire Grand Temple complex sits atop walls twenty feet in height. Entrance from the rest of the city is via the stairs up to the Courtyard of the Obelisk.
Additionally, the Temple Guard lives and trains in a significant structure opening to the northeastern side of the Courtyard of the Obelisk.

Emperos Estinos IV the Great established the original Temple of Estinos in his adopted city. In 7994, a new, grander temple was constructed, which is now known as the Grand Temple of Alcor. It consists of the Great Sanctuary, cloisters, bureaucratic offices and apartments, a well-appointed barracks and drill yard for the Temple Guard, and the offices and apartments of the Mitropolítis of Estinople.
