Temple of Erastil
An old temple of Erastil. It fell into ruin in 4709 and became the source of the fog in the Stolen Lands, until corrupted animals of the temple were defeated. The temple was restored in Rova 4711 by the combined efforts of House Medvyed and The Land of the Silver Star. The Silver Star then annexed the temple to safeguard it in the future.
The temple is maintained, but is mostly visited for pilgrimages, as Ornisk has a dedicated temple of Erastil.
A fountain at the temple may have restorative powers.
Although similar in age to the various Skjegge Clan ruins across the Narlmarches, the temple's architecture is decidedly different.
Notable events
In Abadius 4713, Thorngrim observed that the temple's fountain had become cloudy, priests of Erastil were no longer visiting, and a stench filled and engulfed the temple. Inside he found a small bloom flower behind the central statue. Judging by a set of average-height humanoid tracks in the temple, whoever placed it there appeared at the rear entrance to the building, placed the bloom, and disappeared. Realizing it to be dangerous, Thorngrim left it to consult with others. The flower seems to work as some sort of guide for planar teleportation and/or Fey, as Bandit's teleportation to the First World while outside the Temple was interrupted and he wound up by the bloom inside the temple. Angela confirms that this is a plausible theory. The bloom is unnatural and shouldn't exist in either the Material plane or the First World. It doesn't seem like it will grow further the way it has been planted, but removing it could be dangerous. About 2 weeks later, a group from Ornisk returned to the temple to try and help Cherry save Tristian. They found the bloom flower withered with its petals scattered. Above it, a golden portal lead inside of a building in the Verdant Chambers.
