Tartuk

The purple self-proclaimed king and shaman of the Kobolds of the Narlmarches. He is said to be a great leader, seeking to make all kobold tribes equal.
Tartuk worked with Hargulka to recruit Kobold tribes for a unified Troll and Kobold nation, leading them to the Skjegge Stronghold for training. Ultimately Hargulka was a harsh and cruel ruler to the Kobolds, feeding disloyal Kobolds to his Trollhounds and stoking the fires of rebellion.
When the leaders of The Land of the Silver Star stormed the stronghold and encountered Hargulka, seeing the opportunity to free his people, he helped kill Hargulka. He sought to make the stronghold a home for Kobolds, though hearing Kiin's promises of food, friendship and free housing has tempted him to pledge fealty to the Silver Star. After Kareek and Prazil returned to the stronghold to confirm Kiin's claims, Tartuk made a pledge of fealty to the kingdom, and has since been seen around Ornisk. He does however retain control over the stronghold, which he has renamed "Boldhome".

Tartuccio

Tartuk's past is a mystery. The Constellation claims that, months before they heard of his alliance with Hargulka, they saw him incited a war between the Sootscale Kobolds and the Mites under the Old Sycamore. He stole 'Sacred Relics' (sticks) from both sides and sent them to an unknown entity before attacking the party. Ragnar Garess stabbed him through the heart with his rapier, apparently killing him. His body disappeared with a disembodied voice laughing and saying something about a jester.
The leaders say the Tartuk they encountered under the Old Sycamore looks exactly like the one they met in the Skjegge Stronghold, but he has no memory of having met them (or having died). It is possible that his condition is the result of the Stolen Lands Curse.
