Blackie Ivel's Metropolis

The other joint capital city of the province. Once again The Metropolis is selective in who it invites to live there but this time the focus is not so much on wealth and status. It is a place for individuals skilled and magic or creation be it art, tinkering, jewellery crafting, or great bards. Unlike The Houses, The Metropolis does encourage merchants to set up shops and taverns here but with the caveat that they must pay a tax to the various colleges in the city. This means that the average price of goods in The Metropolis is much higher than elsewhere.
