Morrison Academy for Higher Learning

The Morrison School for Higher Learning is a global initiative sponsored by the Nations United to protect and study young meta humans as they develop into adulthood. The School is a prototype for other such facilities around the world. While not the first of its kind, the Claremont Academy in Truro has a solid claim to that title; the Morrison Academy is the first such organization to act independently from government interference, thus allowing for the Free Nations of the World oversight over meta human development. The Academy is entirely financed by an independent trust, directly administered by the board of the United Nations. This committee is led by Council's Inner Circle, thus granting the school autonomy from its host government. Besides the Morrison Academy the Council has established similar projects in Brazil, Colombia, Ukraine, Tunisia, Turkey, Thailand and Kuwait. While similar in principle, these schools are vastly different in methodologies and protocols as the Council explores how differing factors affect the development of young meta humans. The program is expected to continue exploring educative models around member countries, such as in Botswana and Ireland, at least until 2019; then, once there's a complete model, the program will begin being implemented on the rest of the world.

Institutional Objectives

The Morrison Academy has a threefold compromise to its students and staff.

For this reason we provide all of our staff, teaching or otherwise with world class resources and training to provide an exceptional response to any and all possible circumstances. We guarantee all our students support for their endeavors and to provide them with the best quality of services necessary for them to achieve fulfillment.

Our final guarantee is to ingrain in our students the spirit of service and duty, ensuring they'll follow the path best suited for them to transform themselves and the society at large into their best selves.

Staff

As in, administrative staff or other non teachers.

Glory: Headmistress and history teacher. Tends to spend most of her time away from the academy.

Ellie: Captain in the Mexican Army, Emilia Salamanca Rocha. She's the vice principal and in charge of the School's communications.

Adelaide Deagan: French liaison with the academy, teaches French and Geography. A serious and strict older woman, she's often found in the school's hallways, monitoring the students.

Abbot Gray: British liaison with the academy, teaches Chemistry and Biology. He's a quiet and reserved older man; Abbot avoids the students and spends most of his time in his office, which makes him the only administrator besides Elli who does any actual paperwork.

Qiang Huang: Chinese liaison with the academy, teaches English and Literature. He's hardly ever in his office, as he spends most of his time either outside the school or planning how to escape the school without his assistant, Ya Ling catching him.

Randall Tran: American liaison to the school, teaches Math and Physics. The youngest of the Liaisons at 46, he's the most involved with the students and the whole teaching idea. He runs a Programming Workshop in the evening and most days he can be found in the computer lab.

Toma Ivanov: Russian liaison to the school, she teaches Current Affairs and Civics. She's the lowest profile among the Liaisons, at least for the students. Toma spends most of her time in the teacher's lounge, organizing events between teachers and getting to know the staff.

Zarai Zadi: The nurse. She's a firm believer in the Academy's stated goal of protecting students from being used as government tools.

Gilberto Grijalva: The janitor, his knowledge over the school's happenings can only be rivaled by Big Brother's and even then he's much more aware of the outside world than BB is.

Teachers

The teaching staff, they handle the more extraordinary classes, while also handling their duties outside the school.

Big Brother: The B.B. – 7.1.09 AI. in charge of security and student well being.
Submersible: America's premier wet hero, teaches PE and coaches the swim team.
Owlette: A fairly new hero; teaches Magical Theory and covers for Glory when she misses classes.
Stretch: Former terrorist, Photography and gives a workshop on Tactics.
Witness: A rambling mess, teaches Alien Languages and Psychic Defense.
