Myō

History

Kenta Kenichi is the son of Japanese executive Mikuru Kenichi, an executive for the Yamauchi Zaibatsu, an international conglomerate dedicated to the manufacture of automobiles and their refactions. Kenta’s father came to live in Mexico in 2011, planning to stay less than a year before returning to Japan, this didn’t pan out as unforeseen complications in his Monterrey factories forced him to extend his stay in the country indefinitely to personally manage the plants. In 2015 his family moved to Mexico to remain together close to him.
Kenta barely speaks any Spanish and he makes no attempt to learn any more, as far as he’s concerned he’s taking a long break before returning to take the college examination in Japan.
Kenta was enrolled in the Morrison Academy by being promised a world class education, a recommendation into any university he wanted in Japan as well as a tax break to his father’s business.

Paraphernalia

Kenta carries around a Noh mask which represents the Myō(妙) or charm of Noh, this allows him to alter the senses of anyone who hears his voice and, if heard by long enough, gives Kenta control over his victims.

Notes

Kenta is an asshole who wants to get laid. He wants to become an actor but is studying to enter the business division of a Japanese Institute while studying theater on the side.
He dislikes being in Mexico and he openly hates the Academy, the reason he joined to begin with was to become acquaintances with famous heroes yet the only name he cares to remember is Billy’s.
He hangs around Billy and Aissa, at first he wanted to break them up for the lulz but for one he couldn’t, (Automata kept unintentionally fucking him over) and for two he found it much more fun to point Automata into someone and letting her do harm.
Kenta is working hard on the side not to fall behind his Japanese peers, studying his college curriculum whenever he has an available moment. Beyond this he likes baseball, he’s one of the reasons World Class’ clique go to Celestun most every break.

Blotter

History

Jacobo Yañez aka Blotter became a vigilante in Azcapotzalco in 2013. He used comic book heroes as his models, particularly Spider-man from which he copied the style of delivery for his captured crooks, but he soon realized that not only was he fighting criminals but he also had to fight against the police department.
Yañez became wanted within the city, which heavily hampered his heroics and in 2015 he was captured by police, who kept him uncommunicated for nearly a week and received multiple threats by officers.
Yañez’ family was offered the chance to enter witness protection in exchange for his participation in the Morrison Academy to which he readily accepted.

Powers and Abilities

Yañez has the ability to create a thick substance resembling ink which he can either control to increase his abilities or shoot against enemies to hamper their movements.

Notes

Yañez is a geek, he’s obsessed with Spider-Man and his goal in life is to have a media crossover with him. Whenever he feels like he should say something important he just tries to quote from a comic book he remembers.
At the moment Yañez is committing the largest criminal spree inside the academy thanks to his nearly two hundred gigabytes of pirated comics inside his PC. He does the most impressive mental gymnastics to try and justify why not buying all the comics he owns isn’t a crime.
He became fast friends with Matt and Yuri on account of them all being huge nerds, he even got World Class obsessed with Madden.
He spends a lot of time with Fan, talking about their time as vigilantes and Fan’s instruction into the PLC, she invited him to join too but he wants to try being a superhero again before going full communist.

Rollerblade

History

Fátima Fan claims to have time traveled to 2016 from 1990, which would make her the first singularity occurrence, that said her story gets more and more undone after the time traveling part, according to Fan she comes from a parallel universe where things like super villains, space-time-dimensional travel and talking ducks are so common most people know better than to let life threatening situations stop their days.
While there’s no record of Fan existence, at least not in Mexico, the government is not quite ready to accept the existence of the multiverse on the word of a teenager who according to her own word jumped into an alien dimension with no information, plan or understanding of what such jump would entail.
Beyond her own ramblings Fátima does present… slight alterations to her genetic and morphological makeup but Occam’s razor demands we attribute these to her occurrence, rather than to some theoretical dimensional hop.

Powers and Abilities

Rollerblade can create skates in any situation which grants her super human speed and which she can use like regular blades. She’s a skilled melee fighter and has enhanced reflexes, agility and strength.

Scorpion

History

Gerardo Ibarra knew what happened to people who manifested occurrences, they either became puppets for some druglord, to the government or both so he resolved to keep his under wraps; that is until he found out his girlfriend was cheating on him.
Ibarra developed an untraceable poison he planned to inject into his girlfriend and her partner, killing them both.
He was caught mere hours before putting his plan in motion, as it turns out, some of the materials he had procured were being tracked, since they were also used in drug production, that along with the byzantine methods he used to prevent the purchases to be traced back to him only increased suspicion and accelerated his capture.
Ibarra was charged with attempted homicide and three counts of fraud for which he could have faced from 12 and 1/2 up to 30 years in jail. He was offered a deal to join the Morrison Academy and later on the army, in exchange of commuting his sentence.

Powers and Abilities

Scorpion has fashioned himself a mechanical stinger to go along a less lethal version of the poison he developed, together with an exosuit which greatly increases his physical abilities.

Notes

Ibarra is pissed about his plan being shit and very much still wants to kill his ex girlfriend and her partner. He’s impulsive, mean, paranoid and resentful which he balances out by having nice reading comprehension.
He engages in gas lighting and avoids responsibility whenever possible.
All in all he’s just a fucking asshole.
