Class B

Class B is mostly made by street level heroes handpicked by Stretch, these characters might not be the most powerful people in the Academy but are the most committed and resourceful.
The students of this class tend to be sociable, relying on teamwork to succeed where brute strength would inevitable lead to failure.

History




Paola Penn was born and raised in Netzahualcoyotl City in the State of Mexico. She starts her career immediately after discovering her powers in 2012 which made her a target for the Gang 21, a local gang which sells meta humans to the highest bidder.
In 2016 she’s recruited by Stretch to join his PLF, she follows Stretch to the Morrison Academy after he’s invited to become a teacher.

Powers and Abilities




Knives possess a magic coat which increases her defense, lets her become invisible and allows her to summon and control a multitude of extremely sharp knives.




Paraphernalia




She wears a reddish brown ‘magic robe’ which grants her her powers.





Notes




A laconic vigilante, she likes to teleport from the rooftops of the school and reading about slums, how they got so bad and what to do to help. She dislikes Los Defeñsores, for their lack of involvement in the Gang 21 issue and their rewriting of history.
She hangs with Blotter, they like to swing around the lowlands and play fight. Blotter loves comics and is trying his damnedest to convert Fan into a fan too.
She’s being tutored by Stretch on the ideological bases of the PLF, their history, policies and international ties.






• Lying Eyes

History




Linda Lima was a regional champion in track and field, a verified genius in every subject at school and the heart of every clique, except she wasn’t. Since discovering her powers in 2013 Lima used her abilities to basically cheat at everything, she altered her teachers, instructors and friends perception making herself into an infallible deity.
She was finally found out in 2015 after her competition was transmitted on TV, revealing her to have altered the judges’ and attendees’ perception of events, which prompted an investigation into her scholarship as well as causing a fallout among her friends and family. In 2016 she was given the choice to either attend the Morrison Academy or face fraud charges.




Powers and Abilities




She has the ability to alter the perception of anyone around her as well as to actually modify the environment around her, reducing mobility and visibility around herself.




Note




She’s a bit dim but since she keeps quiet, most people believe her to be smarter than she is. She’s blunt and doesn’t read social situations great and hates people holding her on high esteem while at the same time she hates failing to met their expectations so she acts as smart as possible. She’s not proactive which makes butt heads constantly with Fan of Knives, since she often defers to her for her experience but she expects her to at least handle herself in the field, rather than needing for her to micromanage her.
She picks on and gossips about Gargoyle, which only makes Fan come harder on her; besides Fan, Erica also dislikes her but since she's always civil to her Linda treats her like a friend. She also started a rumor that Fan is fucking Stretch, this does not help her team’s dynamics.
Linda is desperately trying to fit in with Automata (the worst enabler in the universe) and World Class’ clique, although she’s gravitated towards Myō (more a catalyst than an enabler) and Granite (the only person in the academy too stupid to realize what’s happening IS bullying).






• Gargoyle

History




Silvia Juarez doesn’t have a lot left from her family, she was kidnapped in 2008, during the “The Panic” by The Final Judgement a supposedly satanic sect, to use her as a sacrifice in the summoning of a demon from Beyond. The ritual succeeded, at something.
Silvia was transformed into a half human half goat demon creature, as well as gaining incredible resiliency and strength and the ability to fully transform into a demon which further increases her physical abilities but she's unable to revert back into her human form. Since then she was confined by the sect to indoctrinate her into as the reincarnation of their deity.
She was finally rescued by The Ramparts and left in custody of the state. After Glory became the Headmistress at the Morrison Academy she requested for Silvia to join the academy, hoping to find a way to free her of her curse.




Powers and Abilities




She can transform into a more monstrous form, increasing in size, strength and stamina.




Notes




Gargoyle keeps to herself, she’s self conscious about her low education and strange values from her cult days.
She wants to become a superhero to save others like herself. She enjoys cartoons and has been binging them since arriving at the academy. She took a liking to painting which embarrasses her profoundly.






• Escape Route

History




Erica Ramos is the daughter and rightful successor to Magic Man a solo hero and fortuitous developer of teleportation devices.
Magic Man AGGRESSIVELY avoids joining any teams, even going so far as to abandon fights or crises just to avoid team ups.
Thus, the fact that his daughter volunteered to join the Academy has raised every red for the administration as they expect this is just some plot by the couple, although they’re not quite sure what the point of such a thing would be.
Either way she was accepted to study her tech and to track her dad.

Paraphernalia

While she doesn’t possesses any special abilities by herself she owns a bracelet which allows her to create a portal to a pocket dimension.

Notes




Erica has something to prove, she joined the school to study other mechanical heroes, as she herself possesses no innate occurrence; although the school believes her to be a techno path or a mechanical genius of some sort.
She wanted to become a doctor until she made a bet with her dad about how easy it was to be a superhero, now she’s enrolled in a school she has no business being in. She tries to keep herself uninvolved in her group’s dynamics, this resulted in Gargoyle and Fan to take their distance from her while making her closer to Linda. She is pretty confident she didn’t take any sides and thus there won’t be any consequences, even though she did and there were almost immediately.
