Zagaalmar-Class Assault Carrier

While the Alkazaar-Class Starliner may seem to be the most impressive vessel in the Akhaale fleet, the relatively smaller Zagaalmar-Class Assault Carrier is the one more deserving of the title.
During the last Great Cycle, access to the Great Hyperspace Gates was cut off. The Akhaale needed the ability to rapidly deploy forces across the galaxy, and while their space fold capabilities are impressive, constantly moving vessels the size of the Alkazaar across the galaxy accrued a significant amount of space-time debt, that not even an Eye of Hadar could mitigate.
Thus, the Zagaalmar was created as a rapid assault Starliner. While the Alkazaar was meant for intimidation and invasion of lesser empires, the Zagaalmar was meant to bring the latest weapons and defenses to crush a space-borne enemy that truly cared little for capturing or holding territory. To achieve this, the Zagaalmar incorporates an internal long-range arc-gate to bring troops and supplies from depots in safe areas. In addition, it supports a next generation fold drive of such range and efficiency that its possible it might actually be able to be used as an intergalactic vessel.
While highly valued for acquisition by the Akhaale Reclaimers, the vessels have also been somewhat troublesome. Their onboard Arc Gates has long-lost their connections, either by the other end being destroyed or deactivated. While their impressive fold drives are still relatively operational the exact workings of these drives seem to be kept confidential by the ship itself. Despite seemingly being slaved by Vindicator like most Akhaale networks, the vessel will react violently to any attempt at getting close to study its fold drive. The artificers of the Vhok Zhenaale believe that it actually might be Vindicator itself that is restricting access to these systems.
