GIHW-1337+AQM/E-01 Gaalsiar

The GIHW-1337 Gaalsiar (Eng: "Guardian") is the primary humanoid fighter craft utilized by the Akhaale Reclaimers. While primarily controlled via AI, they are designed to be lead in squadrons by an Akhaale warrior either also piloting a unit, or commanding from an Akhaale vessel. If piloted, the pilot is situated in the chest of the machine, and linked into the craft similarly to how they wear traditional armor. Thus the craft is controlled entirely by a neural interface.
The GIHW-1337 dates back to the civil war that devastated the Akhaale, unlike many defensive systems, the Gaalsiar were kept in relatively good status. In addition to being seen as defense against attackers, they are also used within the Ark ships as peacekeepers, ceremonial participants, and even messengers on occasion.
In perhaps a display of the over-decoration of Akhaale technology, the Gaalsiar have a normally-hidden humanoid face. When piloted by an Akhaale, it is considered respectful to reveal the craft's face, which is modeled in the likeness of its pilot (or the original pilot, in the case of old ones). This face is able to mimic the expressions of the pilot, for no practical reasons but for show.

Power Generation

The Gaalsiar is powered by a DHPSN power plant (Discontinuous Hyperoscillation Point Source Node) which is essentially an artificial black hole made possible by the Holzmaan Effect . The node doesn't so much 'generate' energy but is drawn from like a battery with an life expectantly of roughly 1.8 million years. The manipulation of this Point Source Node allows it to utilize other properties of the Holzmaan Effect, such as for propulsion, defense, communication, and even weaponry.

Propulsion

The craft utilizes a Holzmaan Engine for propulsion and maneuverability. This is in effect a small scale version of a Space Fold Drive, only it is incapable of super-luminal translation along the Spatial Tangent. This is in effect a reactionless, fuel-less drive.

Weapons & Armament

• 2x GIWS-HCW-278 "Exorcist" Hyperoscillation Collapser Weapon: The main weapon system of the craft, the HCW generates a pair of artificial Point Source Nodes in the wings. In accordance with the limitations of the Holzmaan Effect , the universe rapidly destroys them. Expecting this, the craft utilizes its Holzmaan Engine to propel the resulting annihilation out towards its target, resulting in entropic disintegration at a subatomic level. The longer the weapon fires, the more devastating the effect, though the weapon has an automatic shut off to avoid it damaging the firing craft.
• 14x GIWS-HLW-392 "Purity" Hard Light Beam: An advanced form of laser that uses a delayed reaction to convert laser to hardlight while it is being fired. Thus, while the projectiles are low on mass, the shots have high durability and possess near-lightspeed velocity, giving them high striking power. They are primarily used for suppressive fire and point defense, and can also be used to project a barrier in front of the craft. Mounted on the inside of the smaller portion of the wings.
• 4x GIWS-HLW-76 "Valor" Hard Light Blade: Effectively a 'laser sword' mounted in the arms and legs of the craft. These projected blades have high durability and cutting power. The pilot can customize the shape of the weapons to suit their preferred combat style, and they can even form shields. The projectors on the legs are surprisingly more powerful than those on the arms.

Armor and defense

• GIBS-HBS-92 "Faith" Planar Shield: Utilizing the two dimensional application of the Holzmaan Effect , the Planar Shield creates a shield of 'flat space' perpendicular to the craft between it and the oncoming attack. The attack is then caught in a field of space without a third dimension to carry it towards its target, rendering the attack ineffective. The barrier is highly effective, though is vulnerable to surprise attack, and a repeated usage can wear out the generator, requiring repair by the craft's Essence.
• Hardlight Barriers: The GIWS-HLW-392 "Purity" Hard Light Beams and GIWS-HLW-76 "Valor" Hard Light Blades on the Gaalsiar are all capable of projecting small hardlight barriers as a back up in case of an issue with the Planar Shield.
• FGI-SN (Functionally Gradient Intelligent - Suspensor Nulification) Armor: The craft's form is composed a living programmable matter, effectively a hardened version of Akhaale's Essence nanomachines. The craft itself lacks a traditional frame, rather its interior is almost entirely hollow. This empty space is instead filled with a suspensor field, repelling the armor outward like a balloon. These fields provide additional kinetic resistance against projectiles.

Communication Tools & Systems

The Gaalsiar is equipped with a Holzmaan Wave receiver for communication. The craft is able to communicate between star systems, but the range is limited on automated units to ensure their security. Akhaale pilots can also use contact communicators to privately communicate, as well as to communicate in regions of high interferance.

Additional & auxiliary systems

• Essence: As with most Akhaale technology, the craft is home to clouds of small golden nanites known as Essence. The Essence is responsible for the maintenance of the craft, as well as administer medical aid to the pilot if need be.
• 2x Sanction Field Generator: Utilizing a weaker, but more precise version of the craft's Planar Fields, the craft is able to remotely grab and freely manipulate objects. Objects with their own sources of propulsion (ships, fightcraft, vehicles) can easily shake off the effect. They are equipped in the arms.
