Pacifica

Pacifica is a Galactic Sector located within the Mid Rim. It is a highly contested area, containing a brushfire insurgency lead by the Pacifica Liberation Front against the tyrannical Colonial Earth Empire, who have recently started to expand into the system, claiming the region as part of the ancestorial empire. Other influences have also creep in. The Corporate Assembly work with the Empire to further their own influences, all the while the Red Sun Commonwealth uses this chaotic region of space to exert their own dominance, giving them priceless pipelines into the Core Systems. All the while, rumors of Union black ops squads operating in the shadows against the imperials.
