Atlantis University

Atlantis University is the name of the higher education orgaization that is Headquartered at Vangian Academy in New Atlantis on Luna. Said to be the best education istitute in all of Sol System.

History

Founded in 2328 by Artur Vangian who began education in portable habs outside the city limits on the surface where the center of the new dome would be when the city finished constructing its expantion domes, having finished the initisl dome build in 2327. The new dome plans were drawn with space for a large central university, later named Vangian Academy, funded in large part by Artur himself and the Vangian family. Artur also served at the University's first President for 12 years. After Lunar propulsion scientist Maude Cliptin developed the Cliptin Propulsion Engine, a reliable deep space propulsion system the path to colonizing Mars.
