Personal history
Maude was born in Aldrin colony on Luna during its colonial period. Her father worked security for the colony and her mother was a botanist, two areas that, as she grew up, Maude couldn't be less interested in. Actually, growing up she found that most thins didnt interest her, save for tinkering with machines, a hobby that would follow her all her life.
Education
When she was old enough, and at the behest of her parents, Maude attended New Atlantis University where she majored in structural engineering and soon was working for the school as a researcher in jet propulsion.
