At a bend in the Coldstream, our pride sits.

I met a Faun from across the ocean once, who said that 'all those who live in cities are fools'. She thought that we were depriving ourselves of something by living within our walls. Maybe she's right, but she just bought her second apartment and she hasn't said something like that in a long time. It's a real upgrade too, three bedroom, icebox, all that jazz... I wonder what she would say now...

Demographics

The population is a majority native Republicene citizens, with a healthy mix of therianthropes, faeries, nature spirits, and foreign immigrants.

Government

The city is directly managed by the Mayor and his office, though the Mayor of Bankshaw is often overshadowed by the presence of the Presidential residence at 628 Magisterium Street.

Modern fortifications surround the city, with fortified walls spanning all 523 miles of city outskirts.

All the expected bits and pieces one would expect from a city in the modern Age.

Geography

Sitting on the banks of the Coldstream River, Bankshaw looks out over clear waters to the south and golden seas of wheat to the north.

The city is split up into several unofficial districts like the Musicians Quarter, where many of the cities bars and restaurants are located, the Textile District, the Port District, the College District, and the President's District. There are others, but those are rather small and specific in comparison.
