Basic Information

Anatomy

Humans have two arms, and two legs and have the most generic anatomy of all species in the galaxy. They are neither especially strong, nor small, nor tall and are in the median for most specifications of all humanoid species.

Genetics and Reproduction

Human genetics is very simple for a humanoid species, allowing them to easily be modified with gene technology. The Pink Mist also has it very easy to generate mutations on their genetic code, making humans the prime target for infusions and mutations. But the most amazing feat of this simple genetic code is its compatibility with nearly all other humanoid species in the multiverse. Most other species are able to produce offspring with humans and human females are able to give birth to most other humanoid species. It is assumed that the Angels have specially designed them for this. Another feat that gives humans an advantage is their high reproduction rate. At only 14 years old, they are easily able to give birth to new generations and they stay fertile till their senior years. The male part of their population often even stays fertile till their death at high age. Some species are calling humans a pest, as in combination with their adaptability, high reproduction rate and compatibility with other species mean that even small populations quickly become a majority in multicultural cities and nations.

Growth Rate & Stages

Like most humanoid species, a human baby and child grow rapidly under the protective care of their parents. A human child is defenseless and depends heavily on the society around them. After they reach their teenage years with 14, they become fertile and slowly stop growing taller. During these years, most humans undergo a heavy personality shift and are very easy to influence, and are prime victims of indoctrination. After reaching adulthood at around 20, a human will not only stop growing but also slowly hardens their beliefs and their personality. The next stage of human development is seniorhood. When a human reaches over 50 years old, they will begin showing more and more signs of decay. They will become weaker, smaller, and infertile, and their hair will turn gray or even falls out completely. Only due to modern societies and the care of their friends and family, most seniors able to care for themselves. This decay in seniorhood only stops with their death.

Ecology and Habitats

The versatility of the human race makes it near impossible to limit their habitat to a certain area. They can adapt to many different lifestyles and are far spread into every climate zone. Humans form communities of different sizes, from small villages to huge mega-cities.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Humans are omnivores and are not very picky with their food. Depending on the area they live in and the local culture, they adapt to what they can grow in their habitat and what kind of animals they can hunt or cultivate there.  There are humans that hunt and gather their food, while others became farmers and grow their food in fields. The Adaptability of humans makes it impossible to restrict their dietary. As long as it tastes not too bad, is not poisonous, and gives some kind of nutrition, humans will eat it.

Additional Information

Social Structure

Humans live in many forms of society. They are organized in families and protect their loved ones. Envy, war, and many more selfish behaviors are having a heavy influence on their view of the world. Most humans are hungry for power, resulting in a strong tendency to select, one way or another, a single ruler among them to lead their nation or tribe.

Average Intelligence

Humans are very well at adapting to their habitat, but not very clever beyond that. They will destroy their nature, their base for living, for short-term gains. They wage war against each other and betray others for selfish reasons.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Humans mostly depend on their two senses hearing and sight. One especially good sense is also their scent, which their ancestors used to sense danger and find sources for nutrition. The generic human has no special senses.

Civilization and Culture

Major Organizations

Queendom of Slimea have a population in which the humans are the majority. On Earth nearly all nations are lead by humans. On Bardor, there are still hundreds of smaller and bigger human nations. The old nation of Atlantis was destroyed during the second pink mist storm 500BC.

Relationship Ideals

Most human societies prefer a relationship of two, a male and a female. More modern societies often allow same-sex relationships and in rarer cases, even relationships with more than two lovers.

Average Technological Level

Humans on Earth have reached the level of a T3 Civilization. They began the development of space-faring technologies and their medical breakthroughs with the help of the Googirls had exterminated most illnesses and even the death by aging for many.

History

Early Years

The history of humans began on Earth. Like nearly all intelligent life in the universe that resembles humanoids, humans were influenced by the Gaia Seeds of the Angels. The first primitive societies formed around 200 thousand years before Christ on the planet. Slowly they gained control over their environments, hunted down dangerous animals, and were the cause of heavy shifts in the fauna. Their high adaptability allowed them to spread over the whole planet.

Colonization of Bardor

With the opening of pink mist portals on the whole planet Earth, humans came into contact with beings of other worlds. Many old myths of elves, dragons, and other monsters have their origin during this time of the first pink mist storm that roamed across the galaxy and began in 19.800 BC. Many tribes of the humans crossed these portals and began to inhabitant other worlds, most prominently Bardor. The Dark Goddess of Bardor,Lia, saw the potential in the humans and their quick reproduction. She helped the humans and spread them to many locations that would have been hard to reach for them alone in such a short time. With the help of the goddess, the humans on Bardor developed way quicker than the ones on Earth.

First High Culture

After the first Pink Mist Storm ended in 19.500 BC, the first high cultures formed on Bardor. One of them quickly became dominant nation on Bardor, under the guidance of the dark goddess Lia, Atlantis. Their quick advance in technologies was so overwhelming that they had little problem in conquering the other nations and tribes, no matter if humans or other species of Bardor. Atlanteans became the dominant human population similar to the Romans much later on earth. New sources of energy were discovered through the high pink mist infusion of Bardor, and magic and magi-tec became far spread in the population.

The Fall

The fall of Atlantis came after the War of Gods on Bardor. Atlantis was weakened by the long war, and even though it was won, it would never regain its old strength. Their goddess's guidance was more and more driven by selfishness and less by goodwill for her people. With the beginning of the second great pink mist storm in 2600BC, the fall began. High concentrations of pink mist made most technology that the Atlanteans used became useless. Their cities could not be supplied anymore and their high population was too much for their agriculture without their machines. As the concentration on Bardor reached a critical level in 500 BC, land masses shifted Bardor and volcanic eruptions changed the face of nearly the whole planet. Without the protection of their Goddess, the humans were living through the biggest destruction of their history. Over 95% of the population of the formerly proud nation of Atlantis died. Some survivors used the last, already closing, pink mist portals which had opened during the pink mist storm, to flee from their home to Earth. On earth, they integrated into societies and were the origin of many old myths. The population on Bardor slowly began regenerating, but they never reached the amount of power again, that they had during their golden age.

Modern Age

The biggest human population is home on Earth. On the planet with a very low pink mist infusion, their technology level had even surpassed the one of the former Atlantis. While the population is split into many nations with many different cultures and societies, the amount of combined power was never seen in the history of humans. Their high reproduction rate and their development of the first space-faring technologies are pushing them further and further into the spotlight of the galaxy.

Interspecies Relations and Assumptions

Due to the simple genetics of humans and their high adaptability, humans are the most common partner in interspecies relationships across the galaxy.
