Policeforce of Slimea
The police forces of Slimea are one of the biggest structures in the Queendom of Slimea. Their exact numbers changes daily due to new recruits and restructurings of the local forces, but it an easily be said that their numbers are far beyond 10 million members.
Members of the police force come from many different species and are as multicultural as the nation itself. Depending on the area and their given tasks, the exact composition of the species changes, but over the whole organization it is the following
- 55% Goocats
- 20% Humans and their subspecies, mostly Demihumans
- 15% Goowolves
- The remaining 10% are split into many other species such as ordinary Googirls, Urban-Elves or Dryads

Forces
The Regional and Local Force
There are 3 main Forces of the police. The Regional Force manages the daily police activities of a whole region, which often includes several smaller towns or major cities. The exact area of the operation territory of a regional force is depending on the workload and the population of the region. The regions are not identical to political or geographic regions but are decided by the High-General of the police force. Each Regional force is further leading several local forces, which operate in a much smaller territory, like a single town or a district of a bigger city. While the regional forces manage the activities of the police in the whole region and have an eye for the bigger picture, the local forces are close to the local people and are the bond between the population and the police force. Most police officers you met on the street are part of the local force. They are handling smaller crimes and helping out citizens in need. Every bigger crime scene is handled by the regional force and not the local force. The majority of the police officers in these forces are Goocats. Other species, like usual Googirls or Humans and their subspecies are in the minority but also work in the forces.The Investigation Force
Many crimes require a deep investigation to find the criminal or to discover the criminal structures of an organization. A member of the investigation force is called an investigator and can be compared to an FBI member in the United States. Their operation area is not limited and they stand above the regional forces. If an investigator appears at a crime scene, they take control of the operation and are giving the commands from then onward. The regional forces will provide all information and help they can to cooperate with the investigator. Their given task is to investigate more complex crimes or help out the regional forces in cases where the crime can not be solved alone by the regional police officers. Investigators operate alone or in small teams and are depending on the help of the other forces due to a lack of own manpower. Most investigators are Humans due to their neutral view of the world. Googirl species appear less often as investigators due to their Loyalty Gene. Depending on the theme of the crime and the changes that a state official is involved in, species with loyalty genes may be fully blocked from investigating the crime, as they would be personally affected due to their gene. That's why most investigators are not sharing the loyalty gene. Investigators must have a broad mind and not be involved personally with potential aspects of the crime. It is not uncommon that an investigator asks another one to take over a job or to co-investigate the crime to avoid any potential change that the investigator lets any loyalty or personal interests affects their job.The Raid Force
The raid force is exactly what the name suggests. The given task is to raid buildings or hideouts of potential criminals. Whenever a situation requires a search, the other forces call a raid team. The raid force is split into teams, which are specialized in different forms of raids. Most are searching for their given object with utmost care and will find any clue, while others are specialized in rapid deployment in emergencies like kidnappings. It is not rare that a raid team will meet a Hunter in their job, and most hunters will regularly be raided by a raid team if they forget to release a prey too late or caught an important member of society who is required elsewhere. Most raid Teams are made out of Goowolves and Urban-Elves, while other species are far less common, but still members of the raid teams as long as they meet with the requirements.Ranks
The different forces share the same rank system.High-General
As the police forces of Slimea are seen as part of the emergency military forces of the Queendom of Slimea, the leader of the force has the rank of a High-General of the military. The High-General is directly appointed by the queen of Slimea. They have full control of the police forces and can void any command given by lower ranks. Normally, the High-General will not disrupt the other Forces and will keep themself out of the daily tasks. It is not uncommon that the High-General joins other forces to stay in touch with the daily job. During such times, the High-General will take a lower rank and will follow the commands given by the leaders of the forces.General
The leader of a Force is called a General. Each force has exactly one General. Each Regional and Local force has their own general. They oversee their force and appoint their lower ranks. A general must have an eye for the bigger picture and all personnel decisions of their given force. They are appointed officially by the High-General. The Generals of Local Forces are instead appointed by the General of their leading Regional Force. Most Generals are not involved in the daily business of their force. In times of conflict, a General is acting as a military leader and leads their force as an army.Big Sister/Brother
The Team leaders inside of forces are called big sisters or big brothers. The name suggests familiarity with the population. They lead small teams of officers and are involved in the daily business of their force. Each of them is appointed by their leading General. Their tasks are mostly the same as regular officers. It is not uncommon that the big sister/brother is simply the most experienced member of a team and is training new members. In times of conflict, a big sister/brother holds the position of lower officer of the military ground forces.Officer
While an Officer is the lowest rank in the police force, it is also by far the most common one. They are the normal police officers you meet on the street and they are the ones that are fulfilling the given tasks of their force. In times of conflict, an officer is seen as a normal soldier and can be called into the army. It is expected that only volunteers are taken, as the daily police tasks remain even in times of conflict. So each team is only allowed to send at most half of their officers into the army, while the rest remains to fulfill the police tasks.Culture
"Your friend and helper"The police forces are trying their best to hold a close bond with the population. They represent themselves as brothers and sisters of the population and it is in the DNA of the police force to appear as the friends and helpers of everyone who is in need of help. Violence of any kind is not accepted in the police force if not with a strong valid reason, such as a danger to the life of others. The population is encouraged to do small talks with the police officers, especially those from the local forces. Friendships forms and people simply know who the officers are who are patroling their home area. These close contacts and trust is used to prevent crimes and to investigate them. The best crime is the one that never happened. Many see the police force not only as a force of order but also as a light social worker force, that prevents crimes by simply being there for people. A police officer is bound by oath to prevent harm from the people and to never use their trust for their own benefit. In case police officer misuses their position, they are removed from their position and often fired from their job. Trust is one of the highest goods for the police force and a strong helper in their main task to prevent crimes from happening.

History
The police force began as a scout force under Saya Sumpfkraut in the early days of the Queendom of Slimea. They were scouting areas, investigating and collecting information and holding up the basic order of the society that was in heavy change during these months in 2017 and 2018. There was no working court system and it was often uncertain if an old law of the nations of Germany, France, or Swiss were still in effect in the new nation. The police officers were forced to make quick judges directly and this system still partly exists to this day.
During the events around Red Moon and their criminal activities, the police grew and grew to suppress them and restore order. The force also received a structure similar to a military army, with a strict hierarchy. It was decided back then that they would also be one of the armies of the new nation and that they should have the numbers to be in every corner of the nation. While this system could have easily led to a suppressing dictatorship, it turned an exact opposite turn and became a trustful system that cooperated strongly with the population. The main reason behind this was the Loyalty Gene that nearly all police officers shared due to their species and the strong wish of the first googirls, especially Suchiru Eisenstein and Saya Sumpfkraut to be on friendly terms with their community.
After the nation had fully restored order and became accepted on the international stage, the police force was reformed again in 2020. It was split into several forces that were given different tasks and areas of activities as well as operation territories. The focus on a local connection with the population was set and is still active to this day.

- The police force of Slimea is one of the first organizations that appeared during world-building. This is mainly due to their leader but also because they easily appear in everyday life situations.
- Many police officers can easily also be seen as hunters, due to their playful behavior; Especially the goocats.
- The Goomilk ability of the Goocats, which acts as a truth serum, is very important for the police force. That means that the police will use truth serum on people if they think someone may lie to them.
- The police officers also act as judges. This is very different from most modern police forces of democratic nations in Europe. But it fits the nation of Slimea well, as the nation can be seen as Neutral Good and not Lawful good.
- At first it was planned to only allow goocats into the police force. But as members of the community wanted their OCs also to be police officers and not become goocats, this restriction was lifted early.
