The plush rush was caused by a pink mist accident by Selissa Blondhaar, which led to the creation of the first Plush Dog, Jaclyn. Not knowing about her exact powers or the rules of society, Jaclyn began transforming people into living plushies similar to herself. Several thousand people were transformed at the end of the week before the culprit could be found by the police and negotiations quickly resulted in a peaceful end of the plush rush. Since then, the Plush Dogs have become famous, especially for children and young adults.
