Squad 609 (Six-Zero-Niner)

Due to the nature of their role, all sappers are naturally seen by line infantry and artillery regiments and having a death-wish or being full of bravado, short on brains, and no other squad within 11 Platoon plays up to that reputation than Squad 609.
By far, one of the most fearless units in the platoon, possibly within 21st Kuati Combat Engineering Regiment, squad 609 have shown that what may appear to be bravado and dim-wittedness, is in fact cold, calculated and methodical work that only a sapper could do. They have been known to clear minefields, seemingly far too quick, whilst under fire and suffer minimal casualties; they have de-rigged orkoid bombs that have landed amidst allied units without showing any concern. All of this has come through experience as the squad is by far, the most experienced group of sappers in the 5122nd Imperial Army and, regardless of what his counterparts in other regiments may think, Lieutenant Friedrich Hobart is proud and protective of each one of them.
