Chimera 609 (Six-Zero-Niner)

When permanently assigned to a unit with such a reputation as Squad 609, the crew of chimera 609 were always going to end up with a reputation of their own, seen as somewhere between the standard mentality that all sappers of 21st Kuati Combat Engineering Regiment (nicely summed up by the Regimental motto of "Can do!") and the hot-headedness of hellhound crews, such as those in 13th Kuati Armoured Assault Regiment.
Due to their unique role amongst 11 Platoon of dedicated minesweeper, it has taken a while to assemble the right people for the crew who can stay calm under pressure and work together through the thickest of minefields but now that they are in place, they work perfectly in tandem with their assigned unit and will happily take them into the thick of it and provide short- to medium-ranged cover fire.

Assets

Chimera 609, as mentioned above, is a dedicated minesweeper of 11 Platoon and as such, forgoes the standard 'dozer blade in favour of a longer reaching mine clearance sled, which can either detonate mines and ordnance it comes into contact with or can fire frag clearance charges ahead of itself to try and effect a chain reaction ahead of the vehicle, or column it's leading.
It has also been equipped to provide squad 609 with short to medium fire cover capable to destroying entire enemy hordes and squads in a short span of time. The hull mounted heavy bolter has been replaced with a heavy flamer (also useful for some clearance duties) and the turret has been fitted with a rare variant and has twin linked heavy bolters instead of the STC standard multi-laser.
As with all other vehicles within 11 Platoon, the assigned squads have also added personal touches to assist in their allocated roles
