Crazy Mochyn Tavern

Purpose / Function

The Crazy Mochyn Tavern is a place for people to gather to have some food and drink. It's known for the variety of Mochyn dishes available, the wide selection of beverages (most are alcoholic), and the music provided. It's a place that sees brisk business during the high heat of day when people have to be couped up inside.

Alterations

While repairs, such as replacing the roof, has occured, very few actual alterations have been made to this building. But the alterations that have been include a couple of gaming rooms and a couple of rooms with beds. The gaming rooms is to provide extra space for those who like to play cards, games of chance, etc. These addtions were made to give a dedicated space that will allow those who want to play games to not distract from the music playing in the common room since there were patrons that complained about the noise. The rooms with beds are mainly to allow patrons to get a nap in or to sleep off too much alcohol. Of course, some people have used these rooms to have sex and not necessarily with their mate. While particular use is highly frowned on and discouraged, as long on people don't draw attention to what they are doing, then the proprietor won't say anything.

Architecture

It's built on a sturdy, cobblestone base. The lower walls are made from leftover pieces of the white stone that the Palace is built out of. Upper walls are made from timbered Crann Beithe with a roof and clay tiles. The main entrance is a double door made of thick Crann Beithe which its sign hangs over. Windows are scattered over the upper walls to let light in but to prevent too much heat and prying from getting/seeing in. On one side of the door is a lantern shaped like a Mochyn on the either side the lantern is an ale barrel.
