Structure

The Five Paths Empire is composed of several smaller domains ruled by a Gen. These smaller kingdoms act semi-independently but are obedient and loyal to the Emperor.

History

The Heraldic Crusades Empire Founding

The Empire was founded by the Great Sage Who Lost His Way, Lallo-Arthwydron Chtikneny Rwaf Kshyachek Ibn Lwallyn-Fenirad Ibnat Lowyall-Lingwain Al Dae-Baldureid al-Loawlly, also known as KILL THE GODS AND DEVOUR THEM WHOLE, during his time as Herald of the Hyperversal Court. Lallo-Arthwydron founded the empire on Risauyama in the Etract system when he married a Goddess of a long de-throned Pantheon, Danbraramur, a Goddess of Music. The empire would expand from Risauyama during the Heraldic Crusade, the duration of Lallo-Arthwydron's service to the Hyperversal Court, and come to embody planets, stars, galaxies, and several hundred Realms. After countless years of service, Hayuba Lallo-Arthwydron would remove his own power and be dismissed from the court, returning to rule his vast empire with his wife.

Territories

The Empire is composed of planets, moons, star systems, galaxies, and Realms (universes) that are stretched across the cosmos, disconnected. The Voice of Mynicar (VOM) refers to a piece of technological marvel and magical genius that separates the domains of the empire from real space and instead phases them into their own frequency of reality, cut off from the rest of the cosmos for the most part. In practice, two Imperial worlds that exist in two different galaxies now exist in the same space-time and can be reached more easily. By doing so, the Voice connects the entire Empire as one closed network.
The VOM itself is a metaphysical song created and maintained by The Ryah-Kaheid Dynasty who use their mastery over The Path of Pathways to achieve this feat of engineering and magic. The VOM is also used to create, transmit, and maintain information, acting as a lightning-fast internet for the empire that even starships can use with low delays. This is referred to as the VOMcast.
Exiting and entering the VOM is done via the Gates of Mynicar (GOM), which is a waypoint portal from Imperial Space back into Realspace. The GOM can be accessed from anywhere in the empire and will spit you out in real space in approximately the same location. To re-enter the empire, the same process is done in reverse, but only starships with the GOMrod Translight Engine Component can do this.

Military

• The Imperial ARMY, NAVY, and MARINES make up the Five Path Military (FPM) led by the Shogun, appointed by the Crown and confirmed by the Diet.
• The Royal Knights of Risauyama (RyKOR) is composed of Knights, primarily sourced from the Gens, who serve under the authority of the Crown but are normally placed under the command of the Shogun. The RKOR is an entirely different military onto itself with its own AMRY of soldiers and sleets of starships in service of the Knights.

The Imperial Office of War

The IOW is led by the Shogun and commands the Five Path Military (FPM) composed of some 35+ Corps, each Corps provided by one of the 35+ states that make up the Empire. Each Corps was led by a Daimyo appointed or elected to their position according to the laws and customs unique to each state but ultimately were under the authority of the Shogun.

The Royal Knights of Risauyama (RyKOR) are Imperial Knights, traditionally sourced from the 35+ Gens who have sworn loyalty exclusively to the Imperial Crown as opposed to Landed Knights who have loyalty to their Gen first. RyKOR is legally only subservient directly to the sitting Emperor or Empress and can only be commanded by the Shogun with express permission from the Emperor.

Founders

• KILL THE GODS AND DEVOUR THEM WHOLE

Legislative Body

The Imperial Diet is the legislative body of the Empire broken into three parts.

• The Greater Diet (1500 Voting Power): Composed of Senators from the 5 Great Gens of the Empire, excluding the Arthweid Dynasty. Each Gen gets two (2) Senators and each vote counts for 150 Points. Greater Senators serve for life.
• The Lesser Diet (1500 Voting Power): Composed of a myriad of the Gens from the Empire that is not a Greater Gen, around about 30 Gens total. Each Gen gets three (3) Senators and each vote counts for 50 Points. Lesser Senators are appointed by their Gen and only serve for so long as their Gen allows.
• The General Diet (500 Voting Power): Composed of Senators elected by the Peoples College, an institution that votes for a Senator based on popular votes across the Empire. There are about 500 General Senators and each of their votes counts for 1 Vote. General Senators only serve for 15 Years.

Majority Votes on any matter will always take the victory.

Judicial Body

The Path of Justice is the highest court in the Empire, ruled by the Eye of Justice, a Hereditary Honor that has and will remain exclusive to The Ryah-Xiqgioheid Dynasty those who have commanded the Path since the Empire's founding. The Path operates outside the power of the House of Ryah and above the Imperial Diet with checks and balances.

• A majority vote within the Diet can challenge Path of Justice rulings.
• The Eye of Justice can only be removed by the Hayuba

The Xiqgioheid administer legal authority to the Major and Minor Paths of Justice, which serve as secondary and specialty courts across the imperium. Any court in any part of the empire can be legally recognized as legitimate and binding only if it is approved by the Path of Justice. Any rulings issued by an unauthorized court are not legally binding.

Executive Body

The House of Ryah occupies the Executive Branch of the 5 Paths Empire. A new Emperor (called the Hayuba to the Empire) is selected by the Hayuba-Ein, a council of Kings and Queens from the various Kingdoms and Queendoms that compose the very imperium itself. If no Hayuba is selected or eligible, the Hayuba-Ein rule in its place. Members of the Hayuba-Ein are not eligible for the position of Hayuba, as it is reserved only for members of The Ryah-Arthweid Dynasty.

The Medeid dynasty strives to produce excellent heirs to become the new Shogun of the Five Paths Empire which often means bending over backward to appease Imperial parties and interest groups. The Empire has no shortage of persons who would strive to see the Medeid stripped of the Shogun title forevermore.
