Personal history

Medeam was born into the House of Ryah as the daughter of Emperor Lallo-Arthwydron, son of Lwallyn-Fenirad, and Empress Danbraramur, Goddess of Music. Because she was the first of the Emperor's children to inherit The Path of Destruction IMT, her birth heralded the creation of a new Gen, Medeid, and the principal Stripe being herself, Medeam. She was given the Holy Name of Kwosheno by her Lord Father at birth which means "Quality of Being Destructive".

Education

• A STEAM Education provided by the Empire to all Trueborn, Chosen, and Demiheirs. This included a formal education in diplomacy, politics, warfare, governance, Household management, and tactics with strategy.
• A formal education in Marksmanship, Starship Piloting & Maintenance, a myriad of Martial Arts, and leadership was obtained from His Majesty's Imperial War College (HMIWC), an institution reserved for noblemen.
• Medeam Kwosheno was trained by her Lady Mother in magic and the Skaldic arts of spoken magic.

Employment

• General Medeam Kwosheno Al Ryah-Medeid of the Shaharazad Imperial Legion (SIL): Shaharazad is the name of the Queendom Medeam Kwosheno and her Gen founded under the Five Paths Empire, and its military body, the SIL, is one of 5 Legions that make up the Five Path Military as a whole. Medeam Kwosheno led her Legion during the Heraldic Crusades with extreme efficiency and deadly precision for many years.
• Shogun of the Five Paths Empire: Appointed as Shogun of the Empire by her Lord Father, Medeam Kwosheno had authority over the Five Path Military (FPM), consisting of the five Legions that made it up.
• Imperial Advisor of War: After Medeam Kwosheno stepped down from the throne, during the Bliareu Shogunate, the rule of her successor, Medeam Kwosheno was valued as an Imperial Advisor to the Shogun.

Accomplishments & Achievements

The Terreanica Campaign

"Victory? Yes, after three wars fought under my command, bleeding their armies dry, breaking their coffers, you arrive in the ashes and claim triumph. It seems all you needed to conquer Terreanica was the ruin I left behind ... ‘The First Shogun,’ you call yourself. You rewrite history in the ink of your own arrogance ... Enjoy your victory, Medeam Kwosheno, but remember this—one day, someone will play the game better than you." Spoken by Shogun Cunobectacus prior to the Medeam Shogunate

Terreanica was a large Jötunnar empire that had frequently attempted to undermine Five Paths sovereignty and authority, provoking military action no less than three times. While the Emperor did not see it as an active threat, General Medeam Kwosheno Al Ryah-Medeid took it upon herself to neutralize the threat to display her skills and prowess to her Lord Father. The Shogun of the Five Paths Military at the time refused to authorize military intervention, and because she also had command over the SIL, General Medeam Kwosheno could not use the full might of her armed forces or assets. What few divisions she could bend to her whim were joined by the Kshatriya Varma, the elite warriors of her Lord Brother King Araredin. General Medeam Kwosheno and her forces levied a blitz attack against the Terreanica, leveraging her superior power and tactics even when outnumbered and overwhelmed to obtain victory.
The campaign ended with the death of the Terreanica Emperor, a formidable Jötunnar Warrior-King, by Medeam Kwosheno's hands. While the previous 3 wars between the Terreanica and the Five Paths had weakened them, Medeam Kwosheno dealt the final fatal blow, shattering the empire. With her success, Medeam Kwosheno annexed the majority of Terreanica holdings and took Prince Bölblanörtr as her husband, a powerful Jötunnar and prized trophy of her victory. Medeam Kwosheno used this massive victory to not only significantly strengthen her own Queendom and expand the reach and influence of the empire, but also finally obtain the position of Shogun of the Empire, a long-lusted-after prize. One made all the sweeter when it was made a Hereditary Honor for her Gen.

Failures & Embarrassments

The Failures of Surn

In her youth, Princess Medeam Kwosheno was in the process of establishing her own Gen following her Lord Father's will. Her Gen was supposed to begin on the planet Surn IXHR, a sparsely populated world of farmers and industrialists. Though ambitious and capable, Medeam Kwosheno was lacking in leadership and experience, with perhaps too much confidence and not enough power to back it up. The biggest difference between the Gen Medeam Kwosheno tried to start here and the ones her siblings started was the location. Surn was not in Imperial space as Medeam Kwosheno wanted to conquer a planet and bring it and the entire star system into the fold. While noble, it presented several challenges and factors that were far outside of her capabilities.
Surn IXHR had a small fleet of starships, yes, but had several alliances with other planets with more capable fleets and soldiers, who came to their aid when Medeam Kwosheno attempted to seize the planet by force. The military assets that were loaned to the princess by the sitting Shogun were destroyed, killed, or captured along with Medeam Kwosheno herself who needed to be ransomed back to the Five Paths Empire. The Shogun refused the ransom and instead launched a full campaign against the system, freeing the Princess and bringing the system to heel with the full might of the Five Paths Empire. Though rescued, Medeam Kwosheno was humiliated when brought before the Emperor and Empress.

The Medeam Shogunate: Founding of the Medeid Gen & the Shaharazad Queendom

Medeam Kwosheno was charged with the creation of her own Gen to cultivate the unique IMT she inherited from her Lord Father. Her siblings who also inherited the IMT after her were joined into her Gen and after the Terreanica Campaign, wed Prince Bölblanörtr. Her Gen, the Medeid Dynasty, would become the founders of the Shaharazad Queendom, one of the 5 Arms of the great Empire.
When Medeam Kwosheno became Shogun of the Empire she primarily served side-by-side with her Lord Father in the carrying out of the Hyperversal Courts rulings which involved punishing cosmic beings, maintaining the Natural Order, and protecting Yggdrasil. In this regard, and many others, Medeam Kwosheno was much like her father, the spitting image of him already but now his right hand in the Heraldic Crusades.
After the emperor cast aside his power and was dismissed from the Hyperversal Court, Medeam Kwosheno shifted her focus solely back to the security of the empire which had grown significantly. Her Shogunate was marked by war and conquest, setting a precedent for empire and sending a clear message to would-be enemies that attacks on them would be met with extreme acts of violence. Medeam Kwosheno held the empire together through some of its toughest periods and maintained order and the word of law when her Lord Father and Lady Mother yielded the throne to their Heir, Princess Ywailat.

The Medeid Dynasty

The Medeid Dynasty's principal Stripe is the al-Medeam, composed of Medeam Kwosheno, her Husband, Consorts, and Concubines. Medeam Kwosheno was a conquering queen and preferred to take partners from the royal families of usurped Houses or executives of toppled governments. Medeam Kwosheno saw them as her prized trophies of war and proof of her power, but whether love in the traditional sense exists between her and them is unclear. Medeam Kwosheno values conquest and domination above all else.

Wealth & Financial state

Medeam Kwosheno was a wealthy woman, having contributed greatly to the empire's growth and the growth and wealth of her queendom. During her Shogunate, her Queendom grew from a single star system to three (3) galaxies, (137) unaffiliated star systems, some (~450) planets, and (23) Realms, all under the banner of the Shaharazad Queendom. While Medeam Kwosheno made sure to line the coffers of the empire, she was not in the business of waging total war or plundering captured territories. Once they were incorporated into her Queendom, all of their infrastructure was now hers, including but not limited to.

If total or careless war was always waged, damages exceeding thousands of trillions of ∐ Hosar to repair or replace once incorporated into the Shaharazad, which out-paces any other financial benefit that comes from conquering said territories. The less that needs to be repaired or replaced frees up more capital for upgrading existing infrastructure to meet imperial standards which produces more capital for the Queendom. Medeam Kwosheno was exceptionally wealthy from this strategy of significant expansion at a comparably low cost when compared to her siblings who expanded at a much slower rate for this very reason.
