Camshire (kam · shai · ur)

Camshire is a group of islands located in between the Aelrou and Kininey continents renowned for their remarkable biodiversity and tropical nature. The chain itself is an autonomous territory of Alfaya.

Geography

The Camshire Archipelago is a chain of islands south of Alfaya. Each one has a variety of climates. Some are tropical, some are, coastal, and one is a literal desert island.

Localized Phenomena

A majority of the islands are volcanic in nature. Some of the uninhabited ones still have an active volcano or two. The only inhabited island with a volcano is one where the lava flows so slowly, that it has proven a reliable source of geothermal energy and was used to understand the property of volcanoes and lava. Fauna & Flora

A large variety of birds and other endemic animals evolved under the island effect, evolving to be bigger or smaller then their forms on the mainland. The flora on the other hand is incredibly large in some parts due to the abundance of sunlight.
