Basillua

Basillua is among one of the larger continents of the land, though stands to be a bit more vertical in shape than most other continents. It has a wide diversity of both landmass, and biome, but also even some of the highest creature diversity and strong Chaos energy in some sections. Its homes to various large names, and historic events, including the Ezqotian Republic, The ancient history of the fire emperor, the arena cult of Masyla, and the home to monster-slayer Glain. Some notable kingdoms are that of Lidel, Esereth, the first Wiesdale, Zaisla, Phaern, and Kingscale (Or Ki-juk Paev). Its gods follow in the Ezqotian pantheon, including (but not limited) to such names as Ezqot, Celismen, Sytiha, Nesre, Teziam, and Perfiaat   There are various mountain ranges, but the biggest stands the Vaghust range at the east-end, where its population of surviving older human clans are mostly the Ghothe ethnic group. There the life tends to form around village family manors, clan loyalty, and improving life for the smaller communities. Some influence trickles around onto the surrounding places, and the sparse life of the east shores, but it varies a bit.   West are lands more based around docks, trade, and tight regulations or experimental loose ideas that have formed around such noise and traffic experienced around the area. A gulf stands at the south-west where a land at some point was ruled by a demigod that set an arena in place for entertainment, and took in K'mosian and Reketta refugees. Further up north-west is where Wiesdale has taken some holding, and places strict authoritative rule over magic, gods, and the unknown, reforging their identity as one closest to pure human rulers. In between are places like that of the fallen Esrethian territories. Much of the western land is a mix between shores, some mild grassland influence from the south, smaller mountains and larger hills, and plenty of dotted forestry. Some regions are known as 'garden lands' for how locals have dressed them, or worship a special devotion to Perfiaat.   South is where things go most more dry. Large deserts make up good quantities of the land, split a bit somewhere by the Dragon's Cross mountains, where a strange collision of land formation almost has a small set of mountains forming a T shape down across the land. To the eastern side of that is where it is most beneficial, perhaps mixing with some waterfall off the Vaghustian range, and forming the odd semi-tropical La'aydyre Retreat - encompassing the marshes and jungle alike, and named after a supposed old dragon that passed in the 700s. Down stream from that is rich with life, taken up by odd Felyjian settlers that make up Phaern, and shared a bit by the Reketta kingdom of Ki-juk Paev. South-east is the kingdom of Zaisla, famously more known as a massive human city ruled by a dragon queen. South-west is a different set of Reketta, considered descendants from a failed imperial colony that continue to act like they will one day be the front for something far bigger, and try to cling to loose imperial knowledge passed from generations.   North and central Basillua make up much of the same idea, being composed of large forests and roaming fields with soft hills. Lidel and smaller cult villages are most well known for roughly being around the center mass, but are otherwise unremarkable. The largest north mountain is a pair at the furthest cliff. Two named as one, its called Mount Yondan, where a single large river flows between it. A temple town shared between Teziam, Thiberme, and Yuezia make house near the foundation of the water. The river then runs down onto the larger city of Julnya, which prides itself on art, culture, and is famed for hosting one of Sytiha's physical avatars. It is also unique as such for long losing the technical idea of a kingdom, as there was quickly a revolt in favor of the goddess' direct rule, and instead there is merely a defense captain and more modest regional lord. To the north-east are less desired marshlands, and smaller fields leading to the north shores, where only the major dock kingdom of Guvaldo stays and has made strict walls for their historic Orc problem. As this region is the closest landing from the nearby land of Orcasio, orc migrants and camps run their best population in the central and north-east region.
