Glain Wooler is born

The halfling Glain is born in a cave outside the village of Yusephire, on Basillua. She is raised by her uncle with some conflict for what her life means, but runs away to become an influential "monster hunter" - even desiring to kill her own mother - and becomes well known across the continent of Basillua.

Glain was born under technically uncertain circumstances between village knight Sean Wooler, and the greedy terrorizing dragoness he was supposed to slay: Rykyleinta. It is suspected the knight was in fact a cruel, piggish man who - be it through magical trickery, or frustrated sexuality - found himself seduced to the dragon, and was devoured after seeding it with Glain. The child was later found outside the cave, and taken in by her human uncle, Owaine.   Raised in the village to mostly stay safe, and away from too much interactions from the discriminating children, and worse adults, she found her ideal calling in society to prove that she was more than a monster, and to develop her skills in both personal defense, and later monstrous assault. Studying adeptly in demonology, chaos formulas, and animal habits, she would learn how to fight with much of the monsters of the world, even those that were truly born human but act otherwise. Among her list though is still her own mother, a troubling foe that hasn't been as easy to catch up to as she initially thought when taking the challenging career.
