The Slaver's Federation
The Slaver's Federation is a faction that thrives on money and power. Their main form of money collection is through taxation, merchantry, and slavery.
The TSF's governmental system is an oligarchy way of ruling. There are five members of the TSF's who have absolute control and the final say in all governing and lawmaking affairs. These five members are known as the Royal Slavers. These Royal Slavers are treated with the utmost respect as they control all of the power within the TSF. The Royal Slavers are essentially five kings and/or queens within the TSF. They are able to grant noble status to any within the faction and those nobles are second only to the Royal Slavers unless otherwise noted in terms of the law.
The Royal Slavers are located on the TSF's capital solar sytem Lyria on the planet Utronus.
Slavery being the main part of this faction, the TSF's has undoubtetly become the wealthiest and most prominent faction within the known galaxy. Slavery has allowed the TSF's to amass a great amount of wealth by essentially breeding humans in order to become slaves as their livelihood and profession for the remainder of their lives.
This form of human breeding has given the TSF's a bad reputation amongst other factions as the majority of people within the known galaxy would consider the TSF's to be immoral and cruel. The TSF's, on the otehr hand, tend to not let this stop them from doing what they do as they are able to produce and maintain laborous jobs for free from the use of slaves.
Not having to pay their workers a salary and being able to do with slaves whatever they so desire has given the TSF's a massive advantage from other factions in terms of shere wealth and resources available.
Being such a wealthy faction overall though does not remove the fact that there is indeed a divide amongst the rich and the poor. The idea of a middle class is almost unheard of within the TSF, it is, simply put, a faction mainly of the very rich and the very poor (disregarding the slaves of course). Those who are wealthy or born into a noble household have more power and influence than those who are not and those born poor almost are assured to remain poor within the TSF as the system is not setup in a way to help the poor in any manner and the poor have little means to gain wealth for themselves with the amount of taxation and discrimination based on class within the TSF. Those that are free and poor many times have to enlist to be an endentured servant in order to servive. Although they are not allowed to be treated in any way a master sees fit such as the case is with a slave, they have almost no rights themselves. The wealthy few rule and control the TSF while the poor generally suffer.
There are definitely cases of those who are poor within the TSF being able to gain wealth however, it is simply a very rare thing to occur.
Although other factions tend to not agree with the TSF, none have attempted a mass desimation of them as they provide a key resource that no one could deny they enjoy, that resource being wealth and resources.
The The United Mercenary Coalition sells the TSF much needed mercs in order to give the TSF citizens the protection required to traverse the Scavenger Faction to trade with other factions or for other activities. The United Mercenary Coalition services are also many times procurred for various other tasks as well, sometimes that being for protection of internal affairs such as a police force, sometimes being the reclaiming of lost slaves, etc.
The Holy Ambrion Empire also has dealings with the TSF as well in the form of resources, money, and other needs which are needed for research purposes. Many times there will be TSF citizens that will sponsor specific citizens of the Holy Ambrion Empire in order to gain special technologies or simply out of the goodness of their hearts in the progress of scientific advancement.
Overall, the TSF is both hated and loved by the known galaxy as they are immoral in the eyes of many with their legalization of slavery, but they also provide wealth that many seem to want more than the idea of freeing those who are enslaved.
