Xabborus (Za-bor-us)

Xabborus is a planet within the Slaver's Federation which closely borders the United Mercenary Coalition and as such is both able to trade more easily with merchants and traders within the UMC but also has to deal with pirates more often than not.

Xabborus does not get raided too heavily however due to its swampy environment which can make it difficult to overcome for raiding parties.

Most of the time when the planet is raided, it is on the Norium refining plants in order to steal valuable Vortex Fuel. Although, usually this fuel is traded and bought peacefully since raiding the planet has its own problems, as mentioned above, the swamps make it difficult to manage.

Xabborus also has defensive weaponry surrounding the refining plants and hired mercenaries or TSF guards/soldiers to ensure the refineries remain unharmed.

Geography

Xabborus is covered with swamps and without knowing the landscape or having a map, it is very easy to become lost in the forests or get stuck in a muddy swamp which can easily kill you. The swamps on this planet are not to be underestimated and are hard to navigate, but learning how to maneuver your way through this swampy planet can yield great resources and riches.

Ecosystem

The ecosystem of this planet is made up of various reptilian-types of creatures that have learned to survive in the harsh swamp environments. Some animals also live on the tops of large trees to stay away from the swamps below. Most of the creatures on this planet are nocturnal and do not come out much during the day.

Natural Resources

The biggest natural resource of this planet is its abundant supply of Norium, or "Vortex Gas". This is a highly traded natural resource as it can be used to create Vortex Drive fuel.
The Norium on this planet though, as on other planets, is very difficult to gather safely and there is no known way to automate this process and a person is required to gather the gas themselves in order to be sure nothing goes wrong as Norium is a highly volatile, dangerous, and hazaradous gas.
Xabborus' environment of swamps and deadly creatures makes the gathering of this gas even more deadly.
Slaves are used in order to gather Norium and many slaves have died in this process but "Norium Slaves" tend to be treated fairly well overall as it takes time to train a person on how to gather this resource in the most effective and safe way. So these slaves are not considered entirely disposable as some slaves are considered to be within the TSF.
