Vortex Fuel

The fuel used within Vortex Drives in order to power them to go faster than light and enter the Hyper-Vortex.
The faster a ship travels, the more Vortex Fuel it will use up before reaching the destination. The slower a ship travels, the longer it will take, but it will use less fuel as well.
Sometimes, if a ship is running low on fuel, the crew may decide to take a week, month, or longer in order to make it to a destination rather than being stranded in space as a distress signal may have a good samaritan rescue them but is just as likely to be a pirate.
