Brother/Sister

The lowest functional rank of the Guardians including holy warriors, ordained priests, and valued clerks.  In theory, warriors, priests and support staff are equal, they have the same titles and form of address (Brother for males, Sister for females) but in practice spell casters and warriors are given a bit more status.
It is rare for Guardians to get promoted to higher ranks if they are not war veterans or theurgists (or both)
