Session I: Supply Run - Session Report

General Summary

The journey begins with Anguish and Tully locked in a cell of the Alderweld guardhouse. Anguish, a Tiefling, was incarcerated for being drunk in public (again) and Tully the ...human?, for -ERROR-. While waiting a new prisoner is brought in, Riya the elf. The prisoners make some attempts to get to know each other, which is another way to say Anguish tried to make friends and was mostly ignored by the others.
A short while later the Alderweld guard captain, Isa Miralda, came in accompanied by an older human male in a colorful patched coat. The other figure was Thom Timulta, head of a caravan the regularly did supply runs for settlements in the southern reaches of the Zapis Kingdom. Being short-handed and anticipating a long and dangerous for his next trek Thom offered the prisoners a deal. Work for the caravan and distinguish themselves and all charges would be dropped.
The party hesitantly agreed, and joined Thom's caravan as it made it's way through the Susmis Swamps to the freshly established settlement of Hoen. En route, the caravan was attacked by wolves emboldened by hunger over the long cold winter. The party was able to kill two of the beasts, and saved the life of a caravan driver who had been mauled.
The session ended just as the party arrived at Hoen.

The party successfully completed the first half of the caravan mission, impressing Thom while doing so.
