Yana Kéń Tinkum (King of the Mountains)

The king of Aramacänten (Mountain kingdom).   The king is the adoptive son of the sun god Tinku. He is also his ceremonial high priest. The king is in a ceremonial marriage with the leader of the Ara Áçäwals. In practise the king is the highest leader of the kingdom, and is usually able to control the Áhçäwals.

Appointment

The next king is always a male relative of the previous king. He must be the most competent reltive for leading the kingdom, which means he is not necessarily the son. Usually he is already appointed as a successor during the previous king's reign, but sometimes multiple people try taking up the throne.
