Run the Slitter
Run the Slitter is the current Grandmaster of the Third Cohort. She was born as the daughter of an outlaw of the Third Cohort, and a woman that was captured by the Cohort (where did she originate?). His father was killed when Valinarna {Ruiskauno}, the original general of the group, decided to flee the organisation by leading a Cohort raiding party straight to the Republic's authorities. She is determined to seek revenge on behalf of the organisation for his betrayal, as well as for her personal vendetta.
Naming
Her first name Run is a fairly common Faren name meaning 'dog'. Her name or identity is not commonly known outside the Cohort inner circle. Among the Cohort she is usually refered to as Yánalte 'Grand Master' or by the nickname 'The Slitter'. The nickname she earned at a young age when she responded to the bold advances made by a man by murdering him.Characteristics
She is known for being a intelligent and charismatic leader. She has managed to keep the Cohort together by solving any internal conflicts justly, and also forge deals and alliances between them and other organisations on the Island. She was not chosen for being the most violent or brave of the Cohort, but rather for being wise, calm and -some might argue- even motherly figure.Mental characteristics
Personal history
For the most of her time in the lead of the Cohort, he kept away from the organisation's day-to-day business, and not being known to outsiders, she managed to travel relatively safely between the Hideout other settlements. A notable exception was, when she was finally responsible for personally murdering Valinarna {Ruiskauno}. His location and identity had been known for the Cohort for years, and he had been under strict surveilance, but Run wanted to arrange for perfect circumstances to perform his execution herself.
