Ralaneas
A massive city state with a territory that spreads out over the coast of eastern Frigus. While it acts under a single government, it is actually the result of most of the villages on the east coast uniting to form a single, unified one. As a result, their cultures are a melting pot for the various ethnic groups (that are now under a single generalized name known as Oriens).
Ralaneas as a whole is determined to impose justice among the world. Under the banner of a Crimson Falcon, their most well known icon, they seek to bring make a peaceful future a reality. To their government, thievery can get one's hands cut in certain districts, and attempting to kidnap someone will land you with either eternal prison or the death penalty. Their obsession with justice has even spread to organized crime, where the less malicious groups operate somewhat openly, keeping the streets clean of other miscreants on whatever they consider their "territory" while avoiding the law on crimes they end up committing. While groups such as these are still criminals, their actions mostly stay hidden enough to avoid the attention of the police. As a result, they cannot do much to convict them of a crime due to lack of evidence unless the organization is actually caught somehow.
Demographics
Almost 92% of the Ralanean population consists of Orien humans. The remaining 8% are other races or other human ethnic groups. The wealthiest of the citizens tend to be those involved in the government and military services.

Defences
The northern districts of Ralaneas are surrounded by a massive wall that was built before the city state was formed. Since most potential invaders struck from that direction, the wall has provided a sense of security, and in some angles gratuitous amounts of shade to the citizens. Aside from this, the entire city state is well defended with a powerful, well trained military that guards its people with a mix of state-of-the-art weaponry and magic to deter invaders. Even without them, however, their training makes them a force to be reckoned with, as their soldiers are infamous for defending the northern wall during Zeidan's invasion with relatively outdated equipment.
Industry & Trade
Ralaneas' exports of various weapons and food allow them to make a good amount of money, but they have been able to become a wealthy city state by taking advantage of its independent status. Countries that are on good terms with them can request their aid as though they were true allies, and they will treat their agreement with the utmost loyalty in order to show that they are not simply greedy mercenaries.
Infrastructure
The fields on the eastern side of the city have a multitude of wind and watermills. Temples and shrines dedicated to various religions and gods can be found almost anywhere.
Geography
Ralaneas has access to both fresh water and the ocean. The land it resides on is famous among tourists for its lush fields, green hills and other beautiful views of nature.
