Session 5: Turnip for the Books
General Summary
Having saved the Samovila of the Glittering Valley from the Touch of Winter, Vasilly and the rest of the gang headed home. Vasilly and Kiki had a chat where it was decided that Kiki would stay home and look after the hut and animals (and definitely not set the house on fire). Baboushka brewed some potions (Cure Light Wounds) and the party went to bed.
Zorya of the Aurora
That night, Baboushka dreamed of her patron, Zorya of the Aurora. In conversation with the aspect of midnight, Baboushka learned the following:- The Zorya are being held prisoner by three jailors, who hold the keys to the Cold Iron chains that bind the Zoryas' neck, arms and ankles.
- Vasilly's son, Oleg is alive, and can be found beyond the Snow Queen's Court, at the top of the ice mountain, in the land of Winter.
- The Unmelting Ice can be removed by a fiery creature of great magic and lore. This would save the saving the Spirits who are afflicted by the Touch of Winter.
