Cherti

Cherti (singular "chort") are creatures of the Old Beliefs. Although they are not bound like the Spirits, they are historically protectors of the Old Beliefs, and many still fight to keep the Orthobog religion out of Ruslavia. The Elves and other followers of Orthobog, believe that the Cherti are demons, although sometimes the followers of Chernabog specifically, get on well with the Cherti due to their enemy-mine style bonding over their shared hatred of the Church of the White God.
