Astrakain

Astrakain is the northmost region of the Known World's mainland. The arctic sub-continent is mostly believed to be entirely uninhabitable for modern beings. Its frozen tundra and blistering winds are not for the faint of heart and there are no records of Daetians covering any significant amount of ground in Astrakain for over 500 years. Scholars believe that many of the northern beings such as Trollborn, Dwarves, and Moorufellian humans originated in Astrakain, but have since evolved to warmer climates.
