Sylvari

The sylvari tongue, descended from the precursor elven telerilaim, is used in many cultures on the ethereal plane, though these peoples do not tend to reach the Prime plane, causing the sylvan language to be almost unknown in common knowledge.
Sylvan is spoken by fey, trees and treants, animal spirits, sylvari elves and their creations.
Sylvan is an ancient language that has survived in schools of spellcasting that draw on the natural or ethereal world, or on nature spirits.
