Aerecelevon
The language of aerecelevon, descended from the precursor elven telerilaim, is used by a variety of races beneath the seas of the Prime plane, though these peoples rarely interact with the surface world in any significant or civil sense, and are therefore unknown in broader society.
Aerecelevon is spoken in any of the more civilised communities of sahuagin, kuo-toa, grindylow, merrow, cacaeli, merali, sea elves and their creations.
Though a variety of languages are used within the smaller communities of undersea races, aerecelevon has been extant for almost as long as malari, and has had an active and well-travelled people spreading its use for century upon century.
Written aerecelevon, a script of rigid and curved lines, is angular and modular, with clear connections between letters visible to even the untrained eye, as the arc and flow of the text must match the flow of the letters that precede and follow. Often tactile as well as visual, a student of aerecelevon can learn to read by touch by running some appendage across the sentence and feeling the coarseness of disjointed lines and the smooth track of the text's undercurrent.
