The Conflict

Prelude

The clans of the Hordelands united under Ariq, stylized as Khan of the Northmen. They intended to return to Jiao and destroy the walls in the way of taking the wealth and other resources that belonged to them.

Outcome

The Hordelands were able to expand west, though those lands were reclaimed once Ancient Jiao created their own Winged Cavalry units.

Aftermath

The use of organized magical warfare by the Khan caused fear among the Ancient Jiao. They began a long campaign to seek wise sages to defend the land from the Northmen.

Historical Significance

The second repulsion led to the wujin creating the 10,000 Mile Dragon Barrier.
