Funny, the style really has something of a travelogue, be it video or audio, which I think is a really nice touch. Apart from that, the world is definitely one of the self-deprecating ones, so I immediately had to think of Eccbooks. I would have liked a bit more about the staff or about these entrance exams, but even so it was very amusing. And really funny idea with the band.
Thanks! I know what I'll be doing next. Thinking about Staff details! Maybe Maurice needs more backstory!
As a Dutch expression goes, better properly stolen than poorly improvved. I'm all in favour of being inspired by Valhalla's design. And those meal examples make me drool... I also like the map and legend combination. Tiny problem: It's a bit hard to read the labels, they're a tad too light. Sounds like a neat place to visit after killing some evil stuff. Would slay for again.
I assume you mean the number labels on the Map? Thanks, I'll improve that!
Now that's a menu! Loved it. And the bit about Thor getting dumped made me laugh out loud!

Good!
Fun read and nice article! The writing style is quite good and feels a bit like a travel blog. Also the map is good looking and the legend next to it makes it quite organised. But of course the best part if the original menu :p I do wonder for the werebear and such is it the human form or the animal form that they eat? :p
More detail on the Werebear Ted to come!
Thank the metal gods there's no Sharu's Fang 'oysters' on the menu, haha. Good to hear a bit of music like that on an entry too.
*Sharku's not Sharu's, to late here looking at screens all day, lol.
I love the podcast/travel blog writing style you've used in writing this article. Such a refreshing way to look at a tavern! You've provided some rich history to the place which I always like, and an extensive menu as well! Gotta grab a bite there sometime soon! Keep up the good work! :D
This incredible! The detail put into the meal courses really drew me in. I'm also impressed with your map. I feel like I'm one of the few that doesn't like symmetry in buildings, however you really made me like this design. Well done!
Thanks!
I wanted to chime in again after reading through some of your updates. The narrative approach you took, including an interview, and a farewell at the end was a really unique twist to present the information!
Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated.
I like the narrator style you have written this in, I don't see that very often here on WA. and you did it very well.
Thanks so much!
I. love. this. entire. thing. The theme/vibe! The Three Sisters artwork! The cooking interview! The dryly witty writing voice! Bloody brilliant, all of it.

Well, this was certainly a wild ride. I found this to be an interesting article that was fun to read. I like how it's written in a narrative format via a show detailing parts of the world. The map looks nice and it was fun going through the whole course of food. I love it when folks think of ways to include "monster" meat / food products in their worlds. Ya gotta do something with the corpse after defeating it, hehe. Not too bad for a first article and a challenge one at that. c :
Thanks!
