Bayside
What was once a place full of the wealthy and happy now lays the desperate and broken people of North Web . After the outbreak, those left alive gathered in places full of resources. Bayside was the most common and is still the most populated place in all of North Web. Those here hope to rebuild society and make the world safe again.
North Web is known to have a strong military presence. Most soldiers are trained and brought up at Bayside. Residents here believe in the power of being able to defend yourself and those around you. Everyone is armed with some sort of gun and knows how to use it. Although the community comes off a rigid, those here are very accommodating to those in need. Everyone looks out for each other and believes in the bigger picture of humanity.
People here tend to spend most of their time training for the worst possible scenarios. When they're not training physically, they try to train mentally. Although most books and learning material have perished from the area, there is still a basic school system in place for the young. Bayside doesn't produce the brightest minds, but they sure do produce the toughest.
Demographics
Everyone here is among the same class and are treated equal. There have been appointed leaders for governmental reasons, but they are not exempt to any of the laws.
Government
A hands-off government runs the town to keep everyone on the same page. No thieving, no killing and no discrimination will take place in this town.
Defences
A few towers have been built to keep an eye on the area. Those trained take turns guarding the parameter, making sure the town is guarded all day, every day.
Industry & Trade
The town is involved in the trades between South Web and other districts a lot. Because North Web doesn't have been ways to trade with outsiders, they provide protection for South Web during their trades. In return, South Web provides some of the materials.
Infrastructure
The town has been rebuilt since the out break. New houses have been built, repairs have been made to the boating dock and farms have been created.
Assets
The town has possession of a small boating dock that hangs off of the bay to the west. Although there are not many functioning boats that rest there, the small harbor is usable.
Guilds and Factions
There are different religious groups within the town that tend to group together more often, but everyone is treated equal.
History
The area use to belong to those of a very high class, living the luxurious life. After the out break, most in the area perished, leaving all of their resources behind for survivors. Because of this, Bayside became a perfect place for survivors to gather.
Geography
The area is mostly flat with a slope down to the bay. The bay provides direct assess to water which becomes very useful with farming.
