Ontāgul āng Lāpod

Hāsadag āng Lāpod is a Nāgya Architect, the current and longest-serving Ontāgul of the Rasp. His name, meaning "strong and stable" in Sutsumāk, is an apt description of his tenure as Ontāgul of the Rasp. He is well-loved and well-respected in the community and manages to maintain a favorable relationship with the Nāgya Pānang, all but ensuring that he will remain Ontāgul for the forseeable future.

Hāsadag has presided over what is currently the largest and longest-lasting period of economic growth for the Rasp. Even though the city still struggles to maintain economic ties beyond Yronroost, under Hāsadag's care, they are stronger than ever. Placing an emphasis on cheap but highly productive infrastructure projects, Hāsadag has carefully grown the Rasp's production capacity, increasing the amount of trade between the city and Yronroost. Mummy silk remains the Rasp's most valuable export but the city has gradually begun producing a surplus of crops that is expected to overtake mummy silk's market share before long.
Of the crops being planted in the vicinity of the Rasp, the most valuable are the unique grain species that the Architects subsist upon. Although the creation of arable land has taken a considerable amount of resources, Hāsadag is confident that the investment will soon pay for itself as one thing the Rasp possesses in abundance that Yronroost does not is space.
Hāsadag is also responsible for a small but burgeoning tourism industry in the Rasp. Visitors from other planes pay to be given tours of the unique landscape features that surround the Rasp, such as the nearby realmhusk that was discovered by the Xolmahya. The ravines that were formed as a result of godstombs passing overhead at low altitude and tearing chunks out of the earth are another popular attraction, both for those that enjoy the view, and those that live for the thrill of climbing the sheer, ragged walls.
