Iarno Albrek (a.k.a. Glasstaff)
Iarno Albrek is a wizard and former minor agent of the Lord's Alliance who was working with Sildar Hallwinter to develop its presence in Phandalin and seek out the Lost Mine of Phandelver until he mysteriously went missing.
Letters found in what was set up as a mage's workshop in the basements of Tresendar Manor revealed that Iarno was, in fact Glasstaff -- the wizard leader of the Redbrands -- who had evidently thrown in his lot with some kind of bandit/criminal overlord by the name of The Black Spider and was working to thwart Sildar Hallwinter and Gundren Rockseeker, the very people he was ostensibly supposed to be working with in his capacity as a member of the Lords' Alliance.
Now once again missing, he sees eliminating the Cragmaw Four as his next step.
