Tarava

Tarava is an important goddess within the Hallowed Faith religion, wherein she is among the most revered and worshipped gods. Tarava's origins lay within the era of time even before humans were created by her mother, Aimo. In these times, humans were simply vessels of work desperately created by the gods for their own end. Aimo, amongst the most gifted creators of the gods, preferred the mutual relationship she had made with the Partekti, the undergod race of humanoids unique to her own creation. It would be members of the Partekti that would bring about the events that would birth Tarava.    Einamo, a Partekti man known to be among the principal friends of Aimo amongst his kin, was said to be complete in his love and loyalty to his mother. This closeness was not so greatly felt by others of his race, and in some cases, led to feelings of neglect and jealousy. Yenaminas, an outsider in the terms of the Partekti, was one who had become jealous of the favour in which his brother Einamo was held. This eventually led to Yenaminas killing Einamo with his bare hands, a fight in which Einamo refused to fight back. Aimo was distraught by this and shed many tears for her fallen son. It would be from one of these tears, imbued with her sense of regret and woe of her son's death, that Tarava was born.
